Safe by design
Your rights, nothing more
The agent acts as the signed-in person. Each app refuses what that person could not do on screen.
Confirm before change
In herbe's own assistant, new records, changes and messages are shown on a confirmation card first. With any assistant, what cannot be undone, such as deleting an event, waits for Approve in the browser.
Personal details hidden
Contact names, personal codes, emails and phone numbers are kept from the model. An anonymous mode replaces names with codes too.
Off until switched on
An admin turns AI on per app in herbe ID. A person can disconnect an agent at any time.
A guard you can switch on
An optional manipulation guard checks text for instructions aimed at the assistant, with a journal that explains each decision.

In portal, calendar and service, press Ask or ⌘J / Ctrl+J. The assistant knows the record you are looking at and suggests the questions people ask most.

What is MCP?
The open standard that lets an AI agent reach other systems. You add herbe assist once as a connector, and the agent can then use your herbe apps as you.
Which agents does it work with?
Claude, ChatGPT and Codex. Another agent that speaks MCP may connect too, but those three are the ones we describe.
Can the agent delete my data?
Not on its own word. Anything that cannot be undone, such as deleting a calendar event or cancelling an order, waits until you press Approve in the browser. Smaller removals that can be put back, like a line on your own worksheet, stay within your rights. Every app still refuses what you could not do on screen.
