All questions
Do we need an ERP to use herbe calendar?
No. It works with Outlook, Google Calendar, Zoom, Calendly and ICS feeds alone. If you run Excellent Books or Standard ERP by HansaWorld (known as Excellent ERP in the Baltics, Finland and Norway), it also reads and writes your ERP activities and to-dos.
Which calendars and tools can it show?
Outlook, Google (personal and Workspace), Zoom, Teams, Meet, Calendly, any ICS feed, public holidays per person and your ERP, each loading on its own.
Does everyone have to sign up separately for Outlook or Google?
No. One Microsoft setup covers the whole company, and Google can be connected per person or for the whole Workspace at once.
Does a slow source slow the calendar down?
No. Each source loads independently, so the calendar fills in as the sources answer and never waits for the slowest.
Can I change ERP activities from the calendar?
Yes. You create, edit and drag activities and to-dos in the calendar, and the changes are written back to the ERP. Customer, project and activity type are kept.
Can we connect more than one ERP database?
Yes. Several databases run side by side, each with its own colour.
Where does a booked meeting end up?
Where the booking template says: as an ERP activity, an Outlook event with a Teams link, a Google event with a Meet link, or with a Zoom meeting.
Does a client need an account to book?
No. Booking runs through a secure link.
Can I stop clients booking on holidays?
That is the default: holidays block booking slots. A booking template can opt to allow them.
Which task sources are in the task panel?
ERP to-dos, Microsoft To Do and Google Tasks. You can tick them off, create tasks inline and copy a task onto the calendar as an event.
What do Kanban boards show?
ERP activities, laid out as a sales pipeline, a sprint board or any workflow. Dragging a card updates the record.
What can colleagues see when I share a calendar?
That depends on the level you choose: busy only, titles, or full details.
How do people sign in?
With herbe ID, the one login for herbe apps: a Microsoft work account, a passkey or an e-mailed code. When herbe ID ends a person's access, the calendar signs them out within a few minutes, and so does a phone they paired. The older e-mail sign-in keeps working until an admin turns it off.
Can I use Claude, ChatGPT or Codex with herbe calendar?
Yes. Add the herbe ID connector, an address ending in /mcp, as a custom connector, sign in with herbe ID and press Allow once. An admin switches AI on for you in herbe ID first. The assistant works as you, with your rights on screen.
What can the AI assistant do in the calendar?
Find free time for you and colleagues, read your week, create events, ERP activities and tasks, move an activity to another Kanban stage, add a comment, answer an invitation, and book a customer through your booking link. It asks back when something is missing.
Does the assistant ask before it deletes or invites someone?
Yes. Deleting an event, inviting someone outside your organisation and booking a customer outside your account wait for your Approve on a page in the browser. The page shows the whole action, and the link works once, for 15 minutes.
What is the Ask button?
It opens herbe assist as a panel beside the calendar, also with Cmd/Ctrl+J. When an ERP activity is open, the panel knows which one. You see it when you sign in with herbe ID and herbe assist is set up for your calendar.
Can I search across calendars?
Yes. Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to search events from every source, people and your booking pages.
Can a task repeat?
Yes. An ERP, Outlook or Google task can repeat on a schedule, or a set time after you mark the last one done.
Can clients get one address for several meeting types?
Yes. A landing page groups several booking links under one address, in the order and with the names you choose.
Can a share link expire or have a password?
Yes. Per link you can set an expiry date and a password. The link works without a login, read-only, and deleting it stops it at once.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes. A native iPhone app with home-screen and lock-screen widgets is live in TestFlight beta. Your administrator invites you.
Can I see my iCloud calendar in it?
Yes. iCloud, Exchange, Gmail and other calendars on your iPhone show next to your ERP, Outlook and Google events. Colleagues see you as busy, and you see the full picture.
