Technician app

Today's jobs, the worksheet, parts, time, photos and the customer's signature on a phone. No signal in the basement? The day goes on.

herbe service technician app, today's jobs

Offline is what the app is built around

Three pieces make sure the day does not depend on a network.

The briefcase

Download the next days' jobs with their customers, items, history and stock levels before you leave the office.

The outbox

Every action queues and sends itself, in order, when the network returns. One chip always shows what is still on its way.

The conflict inbox

A clash or a refused change becomes a visible task with the reason attached, never a silent overwrite.

Open Today, work the job, hand it in

Four icons at the bottom: Today, Worksheets, Scan and More. A sync chip at the top shows what has reached the office.

  • One timer for Work and one for Trip; stopping a trip asks how far you drove
  • Cannot finish? Hand the job back to the office with a reason
  • Pair the phone once, then open it with a PIN
  • Today first

The day's jobs in order, with yesterday's unfinished work carried over.

  • Scan the machine or the part

A machine's label opens its card and history. A part's barcode adds the part to the sheet.

  • One worksheet per job

Parts, time and kilometres, checklist and photos in one place. Submit lists exactly what is still missing.

How to start

  1. Open the field demo

Leave your email and get a one-tap link. Try it on your phone.

  2. Book a walkthrough

We go through a technician's day built around your own service process.

  3. Pair the phones

An admin sends each technician a link, or they pair with herbe ID. After that, a PIN.

Questions about the technician app

Does it work in airplane mode?

All of it does. The briefcase holds the next days' work, and the outbox sends what you did when the network returns.

How does a technician sign in?

The phone is paired once, with a link from an admin or with herbe ID. After that, a PIN opens it. No email and no password, day to day.

What if a technician cannot finish a job?

They hand it back to the office with a reason. The job returns to the dispatcher's list carrying that reason, and any time, parts and photos already recorded stay on the sheet.

What if something cannot be sent?

It waits in the Inbox, grouped by worksheet, with one sentence on why. A change that only needs signal sends itself.

What if the machine is not on the list?

The technician adds it from the job. The app compares it with what is already recorded for that customer and warns about a likely duplicate before saving.

Try it on a phone

The field demo opens on any device and is built for a phone.
